Help Rural India urgently requires the following
staffs for its forthcoming IGNOU-Help Rural India Community
College at Roorkee, Uttarakhand:
1. Principal (Degree in Civil Engineering)
At least a degree in Civil Engineering
with minimum 3 years professional experience.
2. Two Teachers/Lectures
A degree/diploma in Civil Engineering with
professional experience.
3. One English Teacher
4. One Computer Teacher
5. Manager for the College.
At least one year similar experience required
The job involves managing the administrative activity, promotion
of the academic programme and organizing placements for trained
youth.

Volunteers Needed
Help Rural India, is a voluntary charitable
organization initiated by the noble thought & efforts of Sri.
Hansraj Shiv, a prominent industrialist, philanthropist a
"Karamyogi" assisted by professionals with an aim to help
alleviate some of the grassroot problems of Rural India. The
Sole mission of the Trust is to provide help in the area of
Basic Education, Health Care, Sanitation, Better Living conditions,
Employment generation activities & Poverty alleviation.
Help Rural India is working in the Rural Himalayan Region
since last one decade. It has initiated various community
development programmes through various interventions. Free
Regular Health Camps, Free Computer Education, Free Rationing
and Cloths Distribution have been regular events of the organization.
HRI needs enthusiastic professional people who believe that
they can make a difference. Willing to Travel all India for
volunteer assignments(On our cost).
We need the following volunteer professionals for our voluntary
activities asap Volunteer Intellectuals (Retd. Rural Developmental
Professional)
- Doctors (MBBS, BDS, BAMS , MD )
- Paramedical Staff
- Social Workers.
- General Volunteers.
- Interns
Duration of work : Generally 5 - 6 Days in
a month During Camps and activities at Rural/ Needy Area,
at HRI's Cost.

- The Volunteer (Salary less) intellectual contributor,
preferably people want to make a difference in the rural
community with their involvement.
- Willing to Travel (for survey, activities and research)
Himachal, Punjab, Uttarakhand and other States for Operation
& Coordination (On HRI's cost).
- Good Written & Spoken English.
- Representable & capable of representing HRI any where.
- Able to devote 04 hrs and 03 days a week.
Trainees (interns) (05 Female & 05 Male).
- Ready to learn and contribute positively.
- The Internship offer for the intellectual contributor,
preferably people want to make a difference in the rural
community with their involvement.
- Willing to Travel (for survey, activities and research)
Himachal, Punjab, Uttarakhand and other States for Operation
& Coordination (On HRI's cost).
- Good Written & Spoken English.
- Representable & capable of representing HRI any where.
- Trainees/ Interns - Sociology/Social Work/ Water &
Sanitation, Gender, Women Health, Public Health are highly
encouraged to apply. The HRI would be bearing the cost of
Travel & basic on the job costs, except salary. HRI
would provide Intern On the job Experience Certificates
and further placement to deserving Candidate.
- Willing to learn Great Exposure to Rural Development in
Versatile Core Developmental issues.
- Able to devote 06 hrs and 05 days a week.
